Be careful out there those who follow celebrities on social media. I was approached by someone on Instagram whos pretending to work on Hugh Bonneville's social media team. Some one is doing the same to him on Twitter.

Everyone's (mine really) favorite Earl/Donk has written an autobiography. I cannot wait to read it and listen to it on audible. This man could read a telephone book and I'd listen to it all day!

Fellow fans of fellow's Downton Abbey, Have you seen Fellow's The Gilded age on HBO (Max)?It was originally pitched as a prequel to Downton Abbey about Robert and Cora's courtship but It was changed and there is still a possibility of Cora and her family to show up since they do move to NY from Cincinnati at some point before 1888 (The show starts in 1882).

Who else enjoys seeing their favorite actors in a movie role that is a huge departure from what you're used to seeing them in?

Take Hugh Bonneville, for example, In the new Netflix thriller, 'I came by'. Check out the trailer below. Its awesome. This isnt Lord Grantham or Mr. Brown in Paddington

more Downton Abbey fun this weekend with friends!

it turns out that i have written 53 Downton Abbey fanfics within three months. WTF?? I was not expecting this. It was a bit daunting writing about this time period because of the mannerisms, etiquette, and speech is so different but people do seem to enjoy my work so there's that.

Tomorrow /9Saturday) I have two friends coming over foe a Downton marathon. I'm excited since I love the first season and S1 Cora/Lady Grantham (Elizabeth McG) hits different!

Also I'm looking forward to watching Hugh Bonneville's new film 'I came by' that premieres on Netflix on Aug 31st. It's a very different character for him and he looks sexy daddy hot doing it in the trailer. Ha!

Sunday is my day of birth. Saturday my dear friend and former roommate is coming down from Columbus to spend the night so Sunday we can have Hibachi at home complete with a Downton Abbey birthday cake because why not?

I also found out that Elizabeth McGovern will be in La next April performing her own play based on a book about Ava Gardner. It would be a dream come true to see her in a live performance so I'm hoping my sister will think of that when deciding on my birthday gift.

August
1.What do you love best about Elizabeth McGovern? from [personal profile] chasing_silver.

I remembered hearing her name on and off through the 80s but didn't remember seeing her in anything that I knew of at the time. Fast forward to seeing the pilot of Downton Abbey. The person who portrays the Countess of Grantham is absolutely stunning so I wanted to see what else she was in which brought me to some really good Hallmark movies ( Clover and Summer of Ben Tyler), a sweet 80's movie with Kevin Bacon which I had heard of but never saw (She's having a baby). found what I could on Prime saw her first movie ( Ordinary people) and Ragtime for which she was nominated for an Oscar at the age of 18. And, of course I cant get Once upon a time in America out of my head because of what Robert De niro's character does to hers. OMG I hate him now. Irrational, I know but there it is.
She has always had a range of what she can accomplish. She's sweet funny and very down to Earth. Born in Illinois, raised in LA, and lives with her husband and two daughters in Cheswick England. Wow I just wikipedid you all. lol! That experience helped her to dig into Cora more moving to England and raising daughters in a culture she wasn't familiar with had to be difficult. I highly recommend checking out her movies/shows and looking up interviews with her and her "second husband, Hugh Bonneville) who she's been married to on screen three times in her career. And we can't forget her singing! This girl has some pipes on her!;

Here is one of my favorites from her band, Sadie and the Hotheads:

I have received reviews on my stories before but never have I received an entire paragraph on where a reader thinks my story should go. It's all, "Maybe so and so should do this? You should have them do this. It's always th antagonist she/he wants me to change. Never the protagonist. It's very different than what I'm used to. Anyone wlse have thoughts on the matter?
