Welcome to Downton

I am on the verge of a huge fanfic undertking. I received a prompt from someone which means majotr research into the South African (Boer War in the late 1800s) for, you guessed it, a Downton Abbey prequel story based on how Robert owesBates his life. It's the one thing that Julian Fellowes never revealed. in facr it was cleverly referenced with the Bafta awards celebrate Downton Abbey in a cute skit with hugh Bonneville and Maggie Smith.

I found out about this hilarious BBC Comedy from 2015 that only had three episodes starring Elizabeth McGovern and Hugh Bonneville directed by Elizabeth's husband, Simon Curtis. I am sharing it here because I want to share the fun. If you watch it, let me know what you think.
